About Me

My name is Michele and I’m a data enthusiast!

This means that I enjoy using data to answer all sort of questions. I dedicate the majority of my day to analytical work, as my profession involves data collection, preprocessing, parsing and analysis. Additionally, I am passionate about conducting data-related research on the beauty and personal care industry.

My goal is to convert raw data into a clear and easily digestible format. This includes using data to make informed decisions, presenting essential information through visual and written formats, or providing deeper insights into event analysis.

Fragrance Youtube Channel

Engagement Metrics Analysis

This project uses the Youtube API to gather data and uses Python to analyze engagement metrics including views, likes, and comments count of a fragrance YouTube channel. Through examining these data points, I was able to determine key insights that could be used to develop future content strategies. This is particularly valuable for brands seeking to partner with influencers, as it helps determine the type of videos that resonate best with the channel's audience as well as assess whether the influencer is a good fit for the brand.

La Mer Skincare Automated Infographic PDF

This project involves using Python to generate an automated infographic PDF that visualizes key data from La Mer’s USA website. The report highlights changes in product sentiment based on customer reviews on the site.

Automating this process ensures consistent and concise reports can be quickly produced and shared. The process can be fully tailored to your business needs. This includes the selection of information displayed, the presentation format, and the frequency at which the report can be generated. Infographics are commonly used to keep stakeholders informed of recent changes, update teams on key insights, and guide decision-making processes.

Shiseido Skincare Automated Infographic PDF

Using Python to create an automated infographic PDF, this project compares key metrics for one of Shiseido’s top-performing skincare products across the USA and France websites. This approach helps in understanding variations in product sentiment across different regional markets.

La Prairie Switzerland

Products and Regional Websites

Analysis

This analysis uses web scraping to compare product selection and price differences between three regional La Prairie websites: USA, Great Britain and Hong Kong. The goal was to identify product and website variations in each regional market.

La Mer Skincare

Chicago O’Hare Duty-Free

Product Selection and Price Analysis

How much do we really save by shopping duty free at the airport? By combining web scraping and in-person data collection, I conducted an analysis of the price differences for La Mer skincare products at the Chicago O’Hare duty-free store, the duty-free website, and the official La Mer USA website.
